At the end of the 1990s, it was one of the largest subdivision plans in the Lombardy region (280 hectares) with a logistics/industrial vocation.

Today, after more than 20 years and after four municipal councils, the area remains unfinished.

There are carcasses of warehouses built in a neo-classical style that have never been used but are already old, roundabouts from which roads branch off into nowhere, fields of wheat and flocks of sheep grazing carelessly: it is the Valley of the Temples of the present time, a distorted pastoral image of postmodernism.
