Area Valdaro – Olmolungo
1999 – Uncomplete
In the late 1990s, it was one of the largest allotment plans in the Lombardy region (280 ha) with a logistics/industrial vocation.
Today, the area remains unfinished after more than two decades and four municipal juntas. One finds carcasses of warehouses built in the neoclassical style that have never been used but are already old, traffic circles from which roads branch off into nowhere, fields of wheat and flocks of sheep grazing carelessly: it is the Valley of the Temples of the present time, a distorted pastoral image of postmodernism.
