South Tyrol’s largest youth event, the only event of its kind in all of Italy. In its 54th edition, it sold out on the final two nights at Bolzano’s sports hall.

Each year about 750 students from the city’s high schools compete in more than 20 different categories to win points and have their school win the trophy.

It’s a challenge that tests the kids and stimulates in them team spirit, and willingness to jump in and play.

Volunteers from the Artist Club organize the festival, association of enthusiasts and former students who carry on the baton and make the event possible from year to year.
